Hello all,
I am hoping to simulate a non-periodic free-floating nanostructure encapsulated entirely by silica glass. The entire structure is surrounded by a PML layer. I extract transmission and reflectivity values from surface integrations before and after the nanoparticle.
The problem I am currently having is that in the simulation that I have included, without a nanostructure, transmission decreases significantly with wavelength and is only about 50% at 450 nm.
I do not have this problem with periodic boundary conditions, with transmission at the expected 96% across all wavelengths studied.
Can anyone advise? Thank you.
