Where to define laser power in heating a gold nanoparticle ?

Hi,

I am currently developing a model calcualting the temperature increase in gold nanocage in PVDF fiber. I used electromagnetic wave frequency domain and heat transfer in solid model. Can anyone tell me where can I define my laser power in this model?

I've checked all the available sources so far as I can find. They usually applied a port to generate laser. But I'm not sure if this case also applies for nanoparticles heating.

I also tried to calculate the electric field from my laser power and put it in ewfd-electric field amplitute ( I used polarized plane wave). But the temperature increase was unreasonably low and didn't match with experiment result.

Can anyone give me any ideas on this? I'm new to COMSOL and have no physics background. I set up my nanocage model by following the instruction for Si nanosphere scattering in air. Eventually what I would like to get is to see a temperature profile for Au nanocage in the PVDF fiber. I hope someone can help me out. Thanks in advance.
